PURPOSE:

Allows an out-of-state producer, exporter, importer or rectifier to ship spirituous liquor into the state to a licensed Arizona wholesaler.

ADDITIONAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

An out-of-state producer or supplier may not sell its products to an Arizona wholesaler at a cost higher than the lowest price at which the item was sold by the producer or supplier to any other wholesaler.

An out-of-state producer, exporter, importer or rectifier must comply with the provisions of Title 4 as if an in-state licensee. Violations of Title 4 may result in a fine or civil penalty and the suspension or revocation of the right to do business in this state.

AVERAGE APPROVAL TIME: Seven (7) to ten (10) days.

PERIOD OF ISSUANCE: One (1) year with option to renew.

FEES: Application fee depends upon the time of year the application is filed.

November - May fee: 02/$350.00 -- 2L/$150.00
June - October fee: 02/$325.00 -- 2L/$137.50
Annual fee (includes SURCHARGE): 02/$120.00 -- 2L/$95.00

* Note: A 2L series license is for an out-of-state domestic farm winery that produces less than 20,000 gallons of wine in a calendar year or for an out of state domestic microbrewery that produces not more than 620,000 of beer in a calendar year.
